Radiesthesia is currently divided between two distinct approaches: one that stems from the mental realm, and another that seeks to ground itself in the principles of physics—a field with which it appears to share a close affinity. To add to the general confusion, these two approaches—which, at first glance, seem to be in rivalry—nonetheless share a common element: the transformation and amplification of radiation passing through the human body via the medium of "vital fluid," a mechanism that manifests outwardly as the movement of a detector such as a pendulum or dowsing rod. Both of these theories—the mental and the physical—yield positive results that may be considered equivalent. The authors contend that the true radiesthesist stands to gain the most by pursuing the latter path, wherein he may benefit from recent discoveries in physics that will enable him to more reliably elevate his art to the level of a true science. This book is the fruit of over thirty years of research, through which the authors discovered that every object—by virtue of its specific nature and unique characteristics—exerts an influence upon the human energetic body, and that every object emits "form waves."

La radiesthsie se trouve actuellement partage entre deux tendances, l'une qui procde du mental, l'autre qui cherche s'appuyer sur les principes de la physique avec laquelle, elle parat s'apparenter. Pour ajouter la confusion gnrale, ces deux tendances, qui au premier abord semble en rivalit, ont cependant un point commun : la transformation et l'amplification de la radiation traversant le corps de l'homme par l'intermdiaire du fluide vital, et dont le mcanisme se traduit par le mouvement d'un dtecteur pendule ou baguette. Ces deux thories, mentale et physique, assurent des rsultats positifs qui peuvent tre considrs comme quivalents. Les auteurs estiment que le vritable radiesthsiste a tout intrt s'orienter dans cette dernire voie o il bnficiera des dcouvertes rcentes de la physique qui lui permettront d'acheminer plus srement son art au niveau d'une science. Ce livre est le fruit de plus de trente annes de recherche qui leur permirent de dcouvrir que tout objet, selon sa spcificit et particularit, influe sur le corps nergtique de l'homme et que tout objet met des "ondes de formes".
