The history of the horse-drawn railway lines which carried passengers between some Orange County communities in the late Nineteenth Century. Here in capsule form is the chronicle of the rise and fall of Orange County’s first attempt to provide mass interurban transit. Accompanying the text are many illustrations that depict this brief but picturesque effort. Taken from old photographs, these scenes highlight the simple technology, the clothing styles, and the street scenes of bygone times.
